"COACH JOE" IS NOW ENDORSING AND DEMOING SIMMON PICKLEBALL MACHINES.

Owner & CEO Mike Swartz has offered me an affiliation to represent, and promote the Simon Pickleball Machines in the Mid-Atlantic Area.
In the future I  will be traveling to different locations to demonstrate the new most powerful and well built pickleball feeding machine in the world.

As many of you know I own a Simon II Pickleball Machine for several years. I have run thousands of balls through this machine and it has performed flawlessly.  Many of my coaching clinics include the use of this machine as it facilitates the learning process much faster than working with a practice partner or having to hand feed balls to clients.

Using this machine with experienced players helps me detect their weaknesses and flaws much faster and provide positive coaching solutions to correct these problems.  The repetitive hitting of even spaced, realist speeds on balls set to provide the client with the perfect feed to execute the shot they are trying to improve. Coaching without a ball machine is short changing clients in the amount of time it takes to detect and correct their problems.

The Coach explains and demos the mechanics of the shot for the client. The client then mirrors the motions of the coach and hits a few hand fed balls. Once the client performs the shot correctly, he/she then gets to hit 25 to 50 balls in a row using the corrected stroke mechanics and executing the desired shot whether it be a forehand, backhand, overhead smash, lob, drop shot or return of serve.

Even finesse dinking can be learned quicker using a ball machine to feed the dinks to you and you returning them to specific targets on the court.

Most top players, open players and pros have long since learned the advantages of practicing repetitive returns of the same shots without having to wait for a practice partner to hit one where you want it.

I see many senior centers, activity centers, clubs and private pickleball franchises conducting hand drilling sessions. They are missing out on the training benefits of a pickleball throwing machine.  Instead of hitting 20 or 30 dinks back and forth with another player, they could return 50 to 100 dinks in a third of the time.

Most serious players know that you need to develop your skills through muscle memory. And perform those skills during a game with little or no thought.  Once you train with a Simon Pickleball machine  you won't want to go back to doing hand drills.

I am planning my complete rehab back to pickleball based on the convience of owning a Simon II.  Hopefully in the not too distant future I will be carting around a new Simon X Machine for demo purposes at your local favorite places to play.

These Machines cost more than the plastic models because they are built of stainless steel and put together with welding and machined hardware.  TRhey come with a 3 year warranty and the Simon Customer Service is second to none.  Yes they are costly.  But pickleball clubs are pooling their members and purchasing the machine for club use. Figure what you spend on attending the pro coaching classes.  And in reality you still have not corrected all your problems. Owning a Simon gives you the opportunity to practice solo on any of the public outdoor tennis courts whenever you get the urge.
