2020 PICKLEBALL PADDLE REVIEW FORTH COMING ON GAMMA PADDLES

Although I do not personally use a Gamma Paddle, I believe they are one of the best Paddles made today with a reasonable price tag for apprentice to advanced players.  I am going to contact Gamma to request a sampling of their paddles to test and review.  I doubt if they would comply .  . .  only if my name was Ben Johns or Kyle Yates. So I will
pay a visit to Holabird Sports on Pulaski Highway and do my research there with demo paddles, using the instore practice court.  If you are thinking about buy a paddle go to Holabird and tell the sales staff that "ickleball Joe" recommended you to come here and try out their demo paddles.  Start with the GAMMA line of paddles.  Take all the GAMMA demos into the indoor practice court and line them up against the way according to their price starting low to high. 
Hit 10 balls from close up and aim for a specific target on the backboard.  Then hit 10 balls from the back court at a specific target. Go down the line as many times as needed to find the one paddle that feels really good in your hand and places the ball closest to the target up close and back.
Leave the good paddles standing up against the wall and lay the poor performers flat on the court.  Keep on rotating the 10 ball sequence until you find the one paddle that fits and performs best for you. DON'T HESITATE ~ BUY It then and there.  If you can't afford it, write down all the brand and model info including the weight, grip circumference, handle length, face surface material and core material.  Then go home save your money and buy it later.

I am a big fan of the Paddletec Tempest Pro 2019 USAPA Nationals Limited Edition Paddle.  I select the smaller grip circumference.  At home I customize all my paddles to weight exactly the same.  I also customize my grip circumference to  3.75" with an aftermarket 1.25mm thick perforated grip wrap.  I also remove the butt cap for a straight handle top to bottom, so I can extend my reach with a quick flip of the wrist. THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY PLAYER TO DO EXCEPT THOSE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR MIND, LIKE ME.

   HOW TO GO FROM A 3.0 TO A 4.0 IN 3 DAYS ?\ "Coach Joe"    6/2/ 2021   I was bewildered by an ad in a well known pickleball magazine by a big time coaching service that travels the country making 3.0 players into 4.0 players after finishing their 15 hour course., I cannot dispute this claim because I have not attended this workshop. If anyone has attended it, please let me know the results. Did you start the course as a 3.0 and at the end your rating jumped to 4.0? I was "bewitched, bothered and bewildered" by an ad in a popular pickleball magazine by a big time traveling coaching service that claims to make 3.0 players into 4.0 players after finishing a 15 hour workshop. RESPONSE COMMENTS MADE TO MEMBERS OF THE FACEBOOK PICKLEBALL INSTRUCTORS FORUM IN REGARDS TO THE JULY 21, 2018 PPR COACHING CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP FLAWED PERFORMANCE EVALUATION PROCESS RESPONSE ONE; In response to requests from Facebook Pickleball Instructors Forum Members  regarding the events at the July 21, 2018 PPR Coaching Certification Workshop at Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, Hilton Head SC, I am providing herein a summary of my observations. ”as an attendee at that Workshop.
