Here's a quick look at IPTPA in 2019. We've been blessed to have the most loyal passionate members in the pickleball community.

2019 was a great year, one in which IPTPA took a major step forward by being recognized as the leading teaching organization in pickleball both by USPTA, the only accredited tennis teaching organization in the United States, the USTA, the governing body of tennis in the US, and by governing body's of pickleball in countries around the world.

I personally traveled enough miles to go around the world 3 times. I met so many new players who now have become best of friends and isn't that the greatest part of pickleball.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all of you for your loyalty and continued support. We'll have additional announcements that I know will excite all our members as we move into a new decade

COACH JOE POSTSCRIPT:

Those skilled players with the academic background and professional teaching experience, who are seriously contemplating the decision to become a professional pickleball coach and certified rating specialist would be best served by enrolling in the IPTPA Coaching Certification Course and complete this comprehensive curriculum of teaching the proper sequence of technical skills in a progressive manner. 

The IPTPA Curriculum also teaches the core competencies of coaching, i.e. interacting, leading, detecting, correcting and critical thinking. Candidates are trained as coaches who can meet the needs of specific groups of players, how to plan safe and effective practices, design meaningful lesson plans, teach appropriate skill levels, and how to coach effectively.  An IPTPA Coach is a teacher, leader, counselor, and collaborator. 

You don't learn all these things in a one day 8 hour fee driven "drive-in" style of quickie certification courses.
