CEO Toni Herting has tentatively approved the following "Guidelines for the upcoming Ladies Doubles Summer Pickleball Bracket League.

Bracket League Guidelines were created by Joe Palmere Jr. 05/08 2019
  • “Bracket League” is 12 weeks, (Thursdays, 6 to 8:30pm), of Ladies competing with Ladies of similar skills, as determined by their scores.
  • Tentative League dates are June 7 through August 29, 2019.
  • Registration, registration fees, player numbers are “YTBD.”
  • Player may also elect to register a “sub fill-in player” in case of absence, to avoid penality..
  • Players miss games without subs are penalized 11 points per missed game.
  • Ladies play 3 competitive games to 11 points (ONLY) each Thursday.
  • Ladies will rotate partners within their assigned foursomes for each  competitive game . . . No permanent partners.
  • After each game, Ladies inform their League Captain of their score.
  • After weekly competition, Ladies are invited to participate in open play for the remainder of time.
  • Foursomes are selected by League Captains, from players with similar scores, until “bracketing“ begins.
  • There are three League Captains to oversee League play, aggregate scores, update Score Board, supervise “Brackets,”  approve subs, and resolve fault or line calls. 
  • “Bracketing” begins when players reach aggregate scores that fall within the scoring parameters of each “Bracket.“
  • “Three Color Brackets are determined based on the highest aggregate score (432): “Pink Bracket” (290-432); “Blue Bracket” (141- 289); & “Green Bracket” (00-140). 
  • Once Bracketing begins, players will rotate with players within their same Color Bracket. .
  • Players can move up or down in “Brackets” based on weekly score. 
  • Players are responsible for pre-approved subs & must notify their League Captains in advance when subbing. 
  • No makeup games; missed game receives a score of “00.”
  • League Captains can disqualify sub’s who misrepresent their skill ability.  
  • Rain date, time & location: is following Sunday 12-3pm Honeygo Park Outdoor Hard Surface Courts.
  • A first, second and third place medallion will be awarded to the three highest scoring Ladies in each “Bracket.”
