Temporary pickleball court lines can be easily made with bright colored sidewalk chalk attached to the end of a three foot piece of one inch PVC Pipe. A 100 foot expandable ruler is used to measure out the length and position the boundary lines, followed up by a person with the chalk stick marking along the measured boundary lines. This takes 3-4 people less than 10 minutes to complete. The chalk lines would be superimposed atop the tennis court lines. The chalk lines would disappear with the first foot traffic involved in a tennis match. Any rain would also wash away the chalk. Since this is not a permanent application there would be no complaints except those from some cranky tennis players.
This completes the Three Part Post on Salvaging Outdoor Courts For Pickleball Play. The schools have private usage permits that can be obtained from the School Principals Office to reserve the court for specific days and times, after school hours and weekends.
