“PASS” SPRING 2019 WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT

COMPETITIVE PICKLEBALL SKILLS & STRATEGIES WORKSHOP

The "Pickleball Academy of Skills & Strategies  (PASSD),”  first program of 2019, is the "Competitive Pickleball Skills and Strategies Workshop. This sixteen hour Workshop is structured for serious players who want to improve their skill sets, and progress their competitive performance to higher success levels. The “PASS” mission is “to develop successful pickle ball players, one player at a time.” And “success” is determined on “what the individual player wants to achieve.”

"PASSD" utilizes advanced “detect and correct” coaching techniques, multiple visual aids, highly successful skills and doubles strategy drills, practice play assessments, one-on-one player feed back, unforced error reduction,  and  home practice assignments, as the tools for your success.

Indoor courts, two sessions per week, two hours per session, eight weeks, total 16 hours of professional coaching, combined with hands-on, live game speed, skills drills, for kinetic stroke correction, shot execution, shot placement, shot selection,  unforced error correction, doubles finesse strategies, making a game plan, and developing a “winning mindset.”

Upon completion of the eight week Workshop, players who attended class on a regular basis and displayed an improvement in their pickle ball skills and strategies, will receive a Certificate of Completion. Our dedicated “coaching staff” will lead you to the “threshold for success.” But “you”  must cross that “threshold” to succeed. No one can make this journey for “you!”

*Players must be 21 years or older. Prior pickle ball playing experience is required. Total of twelve (12) players per Workshop. Player to instructor ratio is 4-1. Players will be grouped in ”like skill, age and mobility pods” of four players per court with one instructor. Each “pod” will progress at their own rate.  This Workshop is not “one size fits all.”

Players will need a paddle, court shoes, eye protection, comfortable unrestrictive court wear, water bottle, and energy snacks. A liability waver is required at registration.

* “"PASS"  will supply indoor lined court space, nets, balls and ball control accessories.  Ball feeding to players is done by paddle, hand and a ball feeding machine, as needed.
(Location, dates times, fees, and registration ~ TBA)
