RATING 3.5 SKILL LEVEL SELF ASSESSMENT GUIDELINE

RATING 3.5 SKILL LEVEL SELF ASSESSMENT GUIDELINE

Many players have asked me what are the skill performance requirements are for a  3.5 rated (high Intermediate) player.

To help players better understand the these requirements, I have summarized the IPTPA  3.5 Skill Assessment Requirements.  You can use these skill sets as guidelines to self assess your own game play.

*Caveat: studies show, many players overrate their performance by one or more skill levels.

If you were apply for an “official USAPA approved” independent rating by a certified IPTPA Rating Specialist  rated by an IPTPA Certifked Rating Special

PROCESS:      (CRS: IPTPA Certified Rating Specialist)

  1. Fill out an IPTPA Player Rating Application.
  2. CRS schedules session when 4 players apply for same rating for 3.5, or 3 players for 4.0-4.5 + (an IPTPA or USAPA 4.5+ player will be 4th player).
  3. Fees paid to CRS, day of rating session. ($25 each / 2.5-3.5), $33 each /4.0-4.5).
  4. CRS informs players at end of rating session if they met the requirements of that level.
