This Pickleball Education Related Announcement is for any and all Charm City Pickleball Members who desire to become International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Certified Pickleball Level I Beginner Instructors.
Lynne Coburn and myself are two of only three pickleball instructors in Maryland who carry the Professional Level II Certification. The third individual is Ben Johns, a 5.5 Nationals 2017 Medals Winners in all categories, and Hometown Pickleball Hero to boot.

TEACH THE TEACHER PICKLEBALL WORKSHOP
August 18 and 19, 2018
Howard County Community Center
Howard County, Maryland
Participants of this 2 day, 8 hour event will learn how to effectively teach pickle ball to beginner players.
Participants that complete the workshop get a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
Those participants who demonstrate the proper ball feeding techniques, during their on court teaching, will be eligible for IPTPA LEVEL I INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION. skills will be eligible to join the IPTPA. Once members, then they enjoy the benefits that IPTPA provides, including our insurance.
IPTPA is the world leader in developing teaching standards in the sport of pickle ball. Each participant will be given an IPTPA Handbook, which forms the basis of the course content.
Day 1 is in the classroom learning the IPTPA teaching methodology. Day 2 is implementing the methodology on court with individual instruction provided each participant.
