PICKLEBALL JUNKIE HAND TOWELS

FRIDAY 4PM AT PHMS 4/8, I unveiled a prototype of the PICKLEBALL JUNKIE SPORTS TOWEL to the distaff members present.  I wanted "their" opinions and suggestions "pro & con" about the original artwork on the back side of the 15" x 15" sports towel.  The front of the towel is logoed with miniature images of crossed tennis rackets. The sports towel comes with a grommet and a clip to attach to your paddle gear bag.

The "PICKLEBALL jUNKIE SPORTS TOWEL will feature crossed Pickleball Paddles  on one side and the original artwork on the other side.  I have attached a pic(s) as a visual.   

The discussion ALSO involved CHARM CITY PICKLEBALL TEE SHIRTS to be sold by the CCPB Tee Shirt Committee as a fund raiser, at all CCPB events.  I will contribute one of my "PICKLEBALL JUNKIE (23) original art work mascot designs" to use on the tee shirts, with whatever wording the CCPB  members preferred. All "Copyright" usage fees will be waived.   

I have attached a sample of the PICKLEBALL JUNKIE Tee Shirts already in the production stage as a visual for the members to design their own trademark.  The PICKLEBALL JUNKIE mascot images are already posted on the CCPB FaceBook Page.

The PICKLEBALL JUNKIE "BAWLMER HON"  is Barb's favorite, and shows a slight resemblance. 

Some suggested wording includes,

FYI NOTE: JUNKIE Brand Mascots are intended for the most part, to be  "Avant Garde," (In Your Face and offbeat) representations for the "edgy, hard playing  funsters'" among our ranks .  There are a few "smiley face ( play nice "mascots"  in the bunch, for the more reserved  "gentler, and kinder " natured players.

The production of these Tee Shirts would be under the control of Charm City Pickleball Volunteer Members who have expressed an interest in this project. There will be an initial start up cost and final production cost.

The more tee shirts we purchase the cheaper the cost per batch.  Also "mascot" colors should be no more than five (selected individual colors) for heat screening.  The selected "wording" should be the same color as one of the "five selected colors."

Members would have a choice of wording letter font style and arrangement on the shirt.  The arcing word arrangement above and below the mascot is one way to arrange the wording, and the straight across above and below the mascot is another way to arrange the wording. 

The pic visual attached shows the arcing arrangement of wording.   Should the CCPB membership decide to proceed with this project,  the first step is to establish a volunteer "Project Management Committee Team" and a Project Manager Team Leader."  The "team leader"  would report project progress to the CEO. BARBERRELLIA!

   HOW TO GO FROM A 3.0 TO A 4.0 IN 3 DAYS ?\ "Coach Joe"    6/2/ 2021   I was bewildered by an ad in a well known pickleball magazine by a big time coaching service that travels the country making 3.0 players into 4.0 players after finishing their 15 hour course., I cannot dispute this claim because I have not attended this workshop. If anyone has attended it, please let me know the results. Did you start the course as a 3.0 and at the end your rating jumped to 4.0? I was "bewitched, bothered and bewildered" by an ad in a popular pickleball magazine by a big time traveling coaching service that claims to make 3.0 players into 4.0 players after finishing a 15 hour workshop. I can not dispute or refute this claim. The tab for this amazing conversion is one "William McKinley ," one "U lysses S. RESPONSE COMMENTS MADE TO MEMBERS OF THE FACEBOOK PICKLEBALL INSTRUCTORS FORUM IN REGARDS TO THE JULY 21, 2018 PPR COACHING CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP FLAWED PERFORMANCE EVALUATION PROCESS RESPONSE ONE; In response to requests from Facebook Pickleball Instructors Forum Members  regarding the events at the July 21, 2018 PPR Coaching Certification Workshop at Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, Hilton Head SC, I am providing herein a summary of my observations. ”as an attendee at that Workshop.
